What Explorator Is
Recognition is not development.
This is where development starts.
Reading the book gives you the framework. It does not, by itself, change how you operate. Explorator is the bridge between recognising the seven dysfunctions and skills and actually developing them — a structured, self-led pathway through the canon, for the reader who wants to do the work rather than simply hold the vocabulary.
It assumes the Synergy Score is already complete — that's the temperature check that makes Stage 1 personal rather than abstract. Beyond that, Explorator sets its own pace. There is no enforcement, no completion tracking, no one checking whether you did the reading. Accountability to oneself is one of the seven skills. Explorator is itself the first test of it.
The Observation Log
Structured enough to start honestly.
Open enough to mean something.
Reflection without structure produces comfortable generalisation. Reflection without freedom produces box-ticking. Each weekly entry moves through three layers — the structured layer gives you somewhere to stand before the open water.
Layer 1 — Structured prompts. Short, factual, answerable without feeling exposed. Who was in the room. What was at stake. Did you say what you actually thought — yes, partially, or no.
Layer 2 — Guided reflection. Moves from facts to pattern. Which dysfunction do you recognise in what happened? Has this appeared before — in what kind of situation, most reliably?
Layer 3 — Forward direction. Not a Commitment Card — that belongs to the facilitated programmes. A specific intention: name one situation in the coming week where this skill will be required, and what you'll do differently.
The seven skills are covered by a hybrid rotation: weeks one through seven assigned by skill in SALIGIA sequence, ensuring breadth. Weeks eight through ten are yours to direct — returning to whichever skill produced the most significant observations, ensuring depth once you've developed the capacity to use that freedom productively.
